John MacNaughton
John MacNaughton became involved with Silver Memories in 2009. He presents every second Thursday in the Morning Melodies segment, from 7:00 – 9:00am. He plays the delightful music from the 30s and 40s.
Born in Mundubbera, QLD, John has loved music since he was a little boy. He listened to musicals and was in the choir at Ascot State School in Brisbane with Andy Thomson the musical director. He learned to play the Baritone Horn as well as a couple of other band instruments.
Both his parents were great music lovers as well.
Andrew worked as a solicitor with the Public Trust from 1975 to 1993.
